In April 2003, the Danish NCP received a request for review from a trade union alleging that a multinational enterprise had breached the employment and industrial relations provisions of the Guidelines at plantations in Belize and Ecuador.
The NCP undertook an initial assessment and concluded that the specific instance did not merit further consideration by the Danish NCP as it was not possible to establish a connection between the company and Denmark.
