In April 2013 the Danish NCP received a request for review from a self-employed individual alleging that an NGO had breached the human rights provisions of the Guidelines by posting false, defamatory information about the individual on their website.
The NCP investigated the allegedly defamatory content and found that the nature of the statements on the NGO's website did not breach the Guidelines. On 23 April 2013 the NCP concluded that the specific instance did not merit further consideration.
