Read the initial assessment issued by the Danish NCP concluding the specific instance - 29 January 2014
In January 2014, the Danish NCP received a request for review by an individual alleging that a Danish company had breached the consumer interests provisions of the Guidelines in Denmark. Specifically it was alleged that the company had not handled an insurance claim correctly.
The NCP undertook an initial assessment of the specific instance but concluded, in January 2014, that it did not merit further consideration given the scope of the Guidelines. The NCP referred the individual to the Danish Consumer Rights Ombudsman who could be of assistance.
