On 10 June 2021, L.T. Abdibayeva, an individual, submitted a specific instance to the Kazakhstan NCP alleging that PreventAge International Institute of Integrative Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine, a scientific and educational institute located in Russia, had not observed the Consumer Interests (Chapter VIII) provisions of the Guidelines. Specifically, issues related to the enterprise’s terms for provision of education services. The submitter alleged violations of the terms relating to online broadcasting of courses during online training.

The NCP held discussions with both parties to clarify the facts presented in the case. The company employer replaced the employee which had violated the company terms by not respecting ethics in business communication during the course. As the employee which contributed to the alleged issues was replaced, the NCP considered that their involvement would not contribute further to a resolution and has therefore decided not to accept the case for further consideration.
