| Summary | Read the recommendations (in French and English) issued by the French NCP to EDF concluding the specific instance - 31 March 2005. In November 2004 the French NCP received a request for review from the French NGO Friends of the Earth alleging that EDF had breached the general policies, environment and competition provisions of the Guidelines by its funding of a hydro-electic project, including the construction of a dam, in Laos.
