On 26 March 2020, two individuals submitted a specific instance to the Hungarian NCP alleging that the subsidiary of a multinational enterprise operating in Hungary had not observed the General Policies (Chapter II), Human Rights (Chapter IV) and Environment (Chapter VI) provisions of the OECD Guidelines. More specifically, the submitter alleged that the company had misused their personal data and that it abstained from having an adapted environmental policy. Furthermore, the submitter claimed that the company did not provide a dispute resolution forum for the existing disagreements.

After reviewing the submission, the NCP concluded that the specific instance could not be accepted as there was not enough evidence of a business relationship between the multinational enterprise and the issues being addressed.
