Bangladesh: The way forward and implications for the textiles sector globally

 
OBJECTIVES
 
This session will bring together policy makers, businesses, trade unions and civil society to address the tragedy in Rana Plaza. It will consider the immediate response and the need for further action, assess the wider implications for the textiles industry with regard to improving working conditions, respect for labour and human rights and responsible supply chain management, and discuss the role of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
